How do I get Wing Commander IV WIN to play in DOS

I have the Windows version of Wing Commander. It works fine in XP. But, for a variety of reasons, I have designed an old DOS system that I like to use. Is there a batch file someplace that I could get that would enable me to run the game in DOS? It seems to me this would be possible, since the bulk of the game is in VOB files anyway and it doesn't matter what platform they run on. Thanks for any advice.

Howdy,
I'm sorry, I don't think there's a way -- you mention VOB files, which
means you have the DVD version... and its overlay for actually playing
the movies is entirely Win9x-based.
